Kool Kid – Zarley Armstrong
Zarley Armstrong is a real life Karate Kid. He’s only nine years old, but he’s already a Black Belt. But it gets even better. Instead of taking five years to get his Black Belt like most kids, Zarley did it in only three and a half years. He truly is little dynamo.
But four years ago, things were a little different. According to his Mom, Erin Armstrong, “Zarley was showing possible signs of ADHD and had difficulty focusing. He had major meltdowns and threw forty-five minute temper tantrums. But the year he started Senior Kindergarten, he also joined Karate. And the change was amazing. Karate helped him focus and develop manners, discipline, and respect for his peers, himself and his teachers. Today, Zarley is very focused and a natural athlete.”
And now he has a choice to make. After getting his Black Belt, he can choose between learning weapons like a bow staff, and nunchucks, or moving on to mixed Martial Arts. Zarley has decided to move onto weapons training.
Good luck with all your future training Zarley.
