Kool Kid – August 2010

6 August 2010 No Comment

Ethan is a very athletic kid who likes hockey, soccer, track, the great outdoors and the Toronto Maple Leafs. According to Ethan’s Mom and Dad, “He was born limber and athletic. We joke that he was born with a hockey stick in his hand.”

He started playing hockey when he was four and moved up to the Novice AA Kingston Canadians rep team in 2008. They won the entire Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) championship that year.

In 2009, he played for the Minor Atom AA Kingston Canadians. It was a very different year…they lost every game. Nonetheless, he kept smiling and simply enjoyed the experience and the new friends he made on the team.

Recently, Ethan attended the regional track meet and competed in the minor atom boys long jump, triple jump, 100m sprints and 4×100 relay. He advanced to the county meet for long jump and triple jump, getting third and fourth place respectively.

Although he was greatly disappointed for not taking home the Gold, he went to the county track meet and did great. He ranked 8th out of twenty-four jumpers in the triple jump.

Great job Ethan you’re one Kool Kid.
