Katie is a generous Kool Kid with a big heart. For the past three years she’s asked her birthday party guests to bring money instead of gifts. She then donates the money to charity. She’s donated to the Food Bank, Better Beginnings, and the Make A Wish Foundation.

Eric Ferguson is a grade eight student at Holy Name Catholic School. But he’s not just your average kid. Eric is one of a very select few students in the district to receive the Beacon of Hope Award. The award is given to students who excel in academics, athletics, and overall character. In addition to the award, Eric also received a letter from MPP John Gerretsen congratulating him on his achievement.

Evelyn is a star in the making. At three years old, she was already an Avril Lavigne fan and was singing and dancing in front of the TV when American Idol was on. By the time Evelyn was five she was in Mini Pop Stars, and when she was six, she landed
a roll in Anne & Gilbert at the 1000 Islands Playhouse.

In Corina’s 8 years she’s been in a ton of activities, like soccer, gymnastics at three different clubs, ballet, singing lessons, girl guides, acro, skating and on and on. And even though she enjoys them all, when you tell her the other options, this little girl always wants to try something new.

Ethan is a very athletic kid who likes hockey, soccer, track, the great outdoors
and the Toronto Maple Leafs. According to Ethan’s Mom and Dad, “He was born
limber and athletic.

Zarley Armstrong is a real life Karate Kid. He’s only nine years old, but he’s already a Black Belt. But it gets even better. Instead of taking five years to get his Black Belt like most kids, Zarley did it in only three and a half years. He truly is little dynamo

In some ways, Nicholas is just like any six year old boy. He loves remote control cars, paper airplanes, and collecting things. But Nicholas really shows what he’s made of when you get to spend a few hours with him. He’s a very caring little young man who wants to help with everything.
